Product Care / FAQ

Live Edge / Charcuterie / Pattern / Display Boards:

- Products are food-safe

- Do not machine wash. ever.

- Hand wash with slightly warm water and light soap. Use the soft side of a sponge.

- Dry immediately with a cloth and lean vertically against a wall (i.e. do not place angled with weight on it... it'll bend over time. Do not lay flat while wet/damp: moisture trapped underneath will warp the wood.)

- Once perfectly dry: Store vertical or perfectly flat

- Adding thin felt pads is a great way to protect your other surfaces (i.e. wood counter-tops)

- Not intended as cutting-boards unless specifically listed as a "Cutting Board". Charcuterie Boards have a sealing finish applied to provide longevity for the wood, but are not intended to have a sharp knife used on it regularly (light-use for cutting cheese, etc. is fine). A proper cutting-board uses a wax/mineral oil to penetrate the wood, but does not creating a 'sealing coat'

Cutting Boards:

- Use same washing/storage instructions as above

- Requires to be 'fed' mineral oil/wax every so often (1-2 years). This prevents the wood from drying out.

- End-Grain Cutting Boards are naturally anti-bacterial and can 'self-repair' most knife-marks when re-oiling.

- Wash after use. Don't let food/liquids sit/soak into the board for a prolonged time (i.e. +1hr)

Wall Art:

-Care: Requires no maintenance other than removing dust according to your regular dust-removal routine

- Comes with wall-mounting hardware already installed (Keyhole Picture Hangers)

- Installation requires you to put screws in to your wall corresponding to the keyhole hangers.

- Screws should be mounted to studs, or with the use of drywall anchors if studs are not available.

- I can provide screws, wall-anchors and more detailed instructions if necessary.
